The entire system includes brackets, pre-swaged cable, and cable guides, it includes the top and bottom brackets, 50' of swaged 3/8 inch 1x7 galvanized steel cable and 1 guide. Weight capacity of 140kg and a lifeline length of 30.48m.

HOW IT IS USED

This version is ideal for billboards and ladders, with mounting brackets that can be used on a variety of fixed ladder styles that may consist of different rung spacings and shapes.

HOW IT WORKS

The 3m cable sleeve (fall arrester) attaches to the cable and the user's harness. This follows them up and down the climb. In the event of a fall, this locks off straight away and prevents the user from falling any further. 

PERFORMANCE

3M Lad-Saf system conforms to AS/NZS 1891.3:2020 manufacturing requirements for fall arrest devices,  AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 - Industrial fall-arrest systems and devices - Selection, use, and maintenance.

 

INSTALLATION

Installation must be carried out by an accredited 3M Fall Protection Certified Technician, and in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.

MAINTENANCE

As per AS/NZS 1891.4 the Lad-Saf system must be certified every 12 months by an Accredited 3M Fall Protection Certification technician. All of the exposed materials in the system have been specified as naturally corrosion-resistant, or have been coated with sacrificial coatings to prevent oxidization of the base material. It is important to consider that in some environments the system may need to be cleaned to gain the best possible life expectancy from the materials. 

WARRANTY

3M warrants the products against factory defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 1 year from the date of installation or first use by the original owner.
